Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2025
The Short Version
We collect minimal data, don't sell your information to anyone, and use cookies only for basic site functionality and analytics. If you click through to a broker, their privacy policy applies once you're on their site.
What We Collect
Information You Don't Actively Give Us
When you visit PartnerCode.org, we automatically collect:
- Basic analytics data - Pages you visit, how long you stay, what country you're browsing from, and what device/browser you're using. This helps us understand what's working and what isn't.
- Referral information - How you found us (search engine, direct link, etc.)
- Country detection - We use Cloudflare's geolocation to detect your country for regulatory compliance (see below).
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-focused and doesn't use cookies for tracking. It doesn't collect personal identifiers.
Regulatory Geo-Blocking
We use IP-based geolocation to comply with financial regulations:
- Spain (CNMV regulations) - Spanish visitors are automatically redirected away from CFD broker pages to futures trading alternatives, as CFD marketing to retail investors is restricted in Spain.
This detection happens at the network level through Cloudflare. We don't store your IP address or use it for any other purpose. The redirect is automatic and designed to ensure we don't promote products that aren't available in your jurisdiction.
Information You Might Give Us
Currently, we don't have contact forms, accounts, or newsletters. If we add these in the future, we'll update this policy and only collect what's necessary.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies:
- Essential cookies - For basic site functionality like remembering your language preference
- Analytics - Cloudflare Web Analytics doesn't use cookies, but if we add other analytics tools, they may use anonymized cookies
We don't use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.
Affiliate Links
When you click a link to a broker (AvaTrade, XM, AvaFutures, Exness), you're leaving our site. These are affiliate links, meaning we may receive compensation if you sign up. Once you click through:
- The broker's privacy policy applies, not ours
- The broker may use cookies and collect data according to their own policies
- We don't have access to any information you provide to the broker
How We Use Your Information
The analytics data we collect is used to:
- Understand which pages and brokers are most popular
- Improve site performance and user experience
- Fix technical issues
- Decide what content to add or update
We don't use this data to identify individuals, build profiles, or target advertising.
Who We Share Data With
We don't sell your data. Period. The only parties with access to any data are:
- Cloudflare - Our hosting and analytics provider. They have their own privacy-focused policies.
- GitHub - Where our code is hosted (no user data is stored there)
Data Retention
Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized. We don't store individual user records. Cloudflare retains analytics data according to their policies.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live (especially if you're in the EU, UK, or California), you have rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to know what data we have about you (for us, it's essentially nothing identifiable)
- Right to delete your data
- Right to opt out of data collection
Since we don't collect personal identifiers, these rights are largely moot for our site. But if you have concerns, you can disable JavaScript or use a privacy-focused browser to prevent any analytics collection.
Children's Privacy
This site is not intended for anyone under 18. Trading involves financial risk and is only for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes to how we handle data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date. We won't make changes that reduce your privacy without notice.
Contact
Questions about this privacy policy? The site is operated independently. For privacy concerns, the best approach is to use browser privacy tools since we don't collect identifiable data anyway.
